Meet our Officers and members.

Bob Rice - President 
President and Broker of First Secure Financial in San Bernardino. Bob has been a member of CAMB since 2002, and has over 14 years of experience in the real estate/mortgage industry in various capacities. Bob is an advocate for improving the professionalism and integrity of the mortgage industry, while putting the needs of the consumer first. Bob currently serves as Chairman of the Legislative Committee, donating his time and resources meeting with Legislators in Sacramento, Washington D.C. and their local offices to discuss legislation and issues that effect  mortgage brokers and their clients. Bob is also President and Broker of Inland Cities Real Estate. 

Dean Movroydis- Immediate Past President

MGIC, Account Executive. Dean has been in the mortgage industry for 29 years. Member of CAMB for 6 years. Dean presently serves as the Membership Chairman for CAMB and has done so for the past 2 years and is a Statewide Affiliate member of the CAMB Board of Directors. Dean also serves as a board member for the Inland Empire and is currently President Elect.  

Wil Herring - President Elect

Wil Herring, President/Senior Loan Officer of Mtg. Experts, Inc. joined CAMB in 2003. Wil presently sits as President Elect for the Inland Empire Board. Throughout his 11 year career in the mortgage industry, Wil has been given the chance to work with some great companies, one of which was Wholesale Capital as a Sales Manager and Director of Marketing and MLS. Wil contributed with WCC’s progression from mortgage broker to mortgage banker. During Wil’s first year as a loan officer, he was named “Rookie of the Year,” and then progressed so quickly that the following year he advanced to Senior Loan Officer, and thus again he was named “Rookie of the Year” among the Senior Loan Officers. With his management and marketing experience he was soon promoted to Sales Manager and Director of Marketing.

Alan Stancombe, J.D. -Vice President -Coachella Valley
President/Broker, Esquire Mortgage, Inc., Real Estate Broker for 3 years and a member of CAMB for 2 years.  Prior to law school and thereafter, was employed by various law firms in the real estate and lending litigation departments.  In 2003, Al initiated what is now the Inland Empire-Coachella Valley Sub-Chapter and was recently elected as its Vice-President.  Currently serves on the Disciplinary Committee of the California Desert Association of Realtors.

Jim W. Hoyt - Vice President - High Desert
Jim has been the broker/president of Island Mortgage Corporation since it opened in December 2000, and has been a producing loan originator for 10 years. He's been a member of CAMB since 2002, joining to help elevate the ethics and professionalism of his industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. 

Bill Moore - Membership
Bill is currently an Area Sales Manager for db-homelending in the Inland Empire. Bill currently serves as Chapter Development Chairman, Golf Committee Chairman, and serves on the Affiliates Committee. A member of CAMB for the last 7 years and a member of the Board of Directors for the last 6 years. 

John Marcell - Treasurer - State Rep   

President Better Mortgage Brokers, Inc. 24 years in the Banking Industry. California Mortgage Broker for 20 years and a Member of CAMB since it's inception in 1990. Served on the State Board of Directors in 1992-1994 and in 2001-2002. John served on the Executive Committee 2003-2004, as well as Treasurer 2003-2004. Served on the Chapter Board of Directors since 1991. Served as Chapter President on three separate terms. Also serves on the Board of two local financial institutions. 

Joel Block - Events Chair                                                         

Joel F. Block started his career in 1991, as a Realtor serving the Palos Verde & South Bay areas. In 1993, during the refinance boom, he began to originate mortgage loans, which led him into Wholesale, Correspondent, Secondary Market, and the Mortgage Banking lending side of real estate. Joel has in production and/or operation management worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Countrywide Home Loans, Fremont General, and the Provident Bank of Ohio. He previously co-owned a mortgage banking firm located in West Covina, which serviced all of California and sold mortgage loans to secondary money-market and Wall Street Investors.

Joel currently is the President and Corporate Broker of The BLOCK Corporation, which subsidiaries are: BLOCorp Mortgage & BLOCK to BLOCK Realtors.

Joel not only serves his mortgage company hands on, but continues to serve the mortgage community by currently participating as an evening instructor for (ASMB) American School of Mortgage Banking. He also serves on other real estate committees: Local Government Relations; Housing Opportunity; & Community Awareness for the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors. 

Paul Lucido - Marketing - Public Relations
Vice President National Marketing, First Magnus Financial Corporation. Paul has been in the mortgage industry for nearly 9 years and is an active member of CAMB since 2002. He currently sits on statewide board of directors as communication chair and was President of the Inland Empire Chapter 2004-2005. He was also recognized for some of his work by the NAMB for Best Advertising Design and Concept for First Magnus Financial Corporation in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Brian Weide - Community Services
Resident of Inland Empire since 1976. Married 32 years with 2 grown children. Been in the field of mortgage lending since 1978. Graduated from University of Redlands, with Distinction, in 1982 with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. Owner of Sunstar Mortgage Corp. since 1990. (Became Sunstar Mortgage Services in December 2004 upon merger with Bristol Financial Group.) Joined CAMB in 1991, helping form Inland Empire Chapter the same year. Has served on Inland Empire board since February 1991. Served as Inland Empire President 1995-1996 and 1997-1998. Served on State Board, July 1998-June 1999 and July 2003-June 2005. Member of Ontario Chamber of Commerce since 2004. Member of Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce since 2000. Consistent BCN attendee since February 2001. BCN Co-chair from July 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007. Will serve on Board of Directors starting July 1, 2007.  

Alex Lutkus - Education Chair                                                         1st National Bank of AZ, V.P. Area Sales Manager. Alex has been in the mortgage industry for 17 years and an active member of CAMB for 6 years. Alex has a passion for training and educating Loan Professionals and with education hopes to improve the professionalism and integrity of the mortgage industry. Alex currently serves on the Education Committee and the Affiliates Committee.  

Mike Hayes-  Board Member                                                        C&G Financial Services In.. Vice President/General Manager, 16-yrs in the business started 1989. Started as a Retail Loan Officer, 14-yrs with C&G Financial 4-yrs CAMB Member, Immediate-Past President 2003-2004. State Leg Committee. 

Dick Hauck - Board Member
Internet Loan Specialist with World Savings a Division of Wachovia Bank. Richard has been with World/Wachovia since January 1999. He has been in the finance industry since 1963 (BofA 31 years) and a member of the Inland Empire CAMB since 2003, although active in the IECAMB since 1999.  He is currently a board member and serves on the Membership Committee. 

Bob Weber-Board Member                                                                           Bob is the oldest living CAMB Member. President of Robert Weber Associates. 21 years in the mortgage industry. Member of CAMB since 1991. Bob served on the Community Services Committee for 2003-2004. Bob established "Home Sweet Loan" in 1985 and has partnerships with over 100 investors. Bob was instrumental in raising money for the mountain community and residents who were displaced by the 2003 fires.                                            

Greg Seymour-Board Member                                               Account Executive for New Century Mortgage. Greg has been in the mortgage industry serving both retail and wholesale for over 20 years. He has been involved in CAMB for over 10 years in both the san Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire Chapters and has been on the affiliates committee in the Inland Empire in the last 3 as a Chair or a Co-Chair of the Golf Tournament.                                                                                                 

Kristine Taylor-Board Member                                                              Kristine Taylor has been in the subprime, private money and real estate industry for 18 years. Mrs. Taylor has extensive knowledge in all areas of processing, funding, and selling of subprime loans and private money trust deeds. Mrs. Taylor started on her own private lending company with 3 employees in 2002 and today employs 18 people. Kristine Taylor is on the government affairs team and board for the California Mortgage Brokers Association. Mrs. Taylor is responsible for corporate strategy, growth and the overall vision of Orion Capital Finance.                                                                                                                                                                                           

Darla Lucido - Chapter Coordinator
Chapter coordinator for the Inland Empire California Association of Mortgage Brokers. Experience in Escrow since 2003 and currently serves on the marketing committee. Darla has been in the executive administration field for over 20 years.
